Meet the Dr.and Staff

Dr. Englund
Erick Englund has been practicing in Navarre since1982, the year he graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School. For 4 years he worked beside his father, Dr. Paul Englund, before taking over his solo practice. As a general dentist, Dr. Englund provides dental hygiene and treatment of gum disease, restorations – including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures, and cosmetic dentistry, including veneers, porcelain fillings, and tooth whitening. Away from the office Dr. Englund enjoys his family, two grown children, travel, and golf.

Sue Heinzen
Sue graduated from Herzing/Lakeland Dental Academy as a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. Sue has been a staff member since 1995. Sue is primarily a chairside dental assistant. When Sue is not chairside assisting, she most likely will be ordering dental supplies, making sure the office is up to date with OSHA or working in the lab.
Sue enjoys family time with her husband and two children.

Dawn Hilgers
Dawn is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of MN Duluth. Dawn has been practicing since 1976 and has been with our office for 31 years. Dawn looks for the best in everyone. She tries to learn something new everyday. She has a gentle touch and helps motivate our patients in better oral health.
Dawn enjoys all types of out door sports, loves her entire family, and her free time.

Monica Savage
Monica is a Registered Dental Hygienist; receiving her degree from Normandale Community College. She started working for Dr. Englund in 2000, but has over 20 years experience in the dental field. Her friendly disposition helps put her patients at ease.

Alicia Krugerud
Alicia is a Registered Dental Assistant who graduated from Herzing College in 2007. Alicia is the newest addition to our team. Her positive energy shows as she helps out in chairside assisting and lab work. Her pleasant voice may be the one you hear when confirming appointments or setting up recall cleanings.
Outside the office, Alicia enjoys camping, skiing and spending time with loved ones.

Becki Minge
Becki is our Administrative Assistant. A staff member since 2006, Becki is the glue that holds the office together. Becki will go "beyond the expected" to help our patients. Her warm, compassionate personality is truly an asset to our group and to the patients. Her friendly voice is most often the voice you hear when calling the office.
Becki lives in Rockord with her husband. She has two daughters and a grandson. Away from the office, Becki enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with her family.
